LEADS GROUPS

The Metro North Chamber currently has four coordinated leads groups designed to generate leads for their specific members. 

Leads group participation is a formal networking opportunity available to Metro North Chamber of Commerce members in good standing. Members will have the opportunity to exchange leads, learn how to give a 30 second elevator pitch and present as the featured speaker at least once a quarter. Leads group membership is exclusive in that only one representative from a particular industry can participate in the group. If you have multiple lines of business that your company represents, you will only be allowed to speak about one area of your business (for example, a financial planner will not be able to speak on insurance or mortgage brokering).

Each group is encouraged to invite and bring guests to each weekly meeting. We encourage you to invite individuals that fill the needs of the group. For instance, maybe there’s a spot open for a plumber or electrician and you think they’ll benefit from being in the group – then bring ‘em along.

Leads group referrals are built on trust. It is important to attend your regular leads meetings and follow through on all leads provided. The average time commitment is 6-8 hours a month for members in a non-leadership position. Sign up for a Leads group here.

One of your membership benefits is access to the Chamber's member-only LinkedIn group! Connect with the right people in our community, make referrals and get leads and talent, and share resources and information.

BUSINESS AFTER HOURS
Held each month, Business After Hours is an exciting opportunity to have fun, relax, and grow your business relationships in an informal setting. A gathering of hundreds of Metro North area business people, held at a different member business each month. Our BAH events are a great way to network and exchange business leads in an informal setting.

You'll find great food, unusual locations, and business friendly people. Join us and see why our events are unique…and don't forget your business cards!

AMBASSADOR PROGRAM
One of the best ways to market your company is to become an Ambassador for the Chamber.

Metro North Chamber Ambassadors are the goodwill arm of the organization. Ambassadors help greet members at events and introduce new members around the Chamber. This is high-energy, very rewarding program for members. Ambassadors meet every second Tuesday of the month at 8:00 am at the Chamber to plan for the upcoming month.

The Ambassador position provides avenues of networking and allows you to meet businesses at a more personal level. Marketing opportunities, such as appearing in the newsletter and networking with city officials, provide integrity and a level of trust that can assist your business. MEMBER REFERRAL PROGRAM
We are offering a new Member Referral Program! We want to reward you for bringing a new business into our family, so when a referred business or organization joins the Chamber, you will receive a $50 credit toward your next year's membership dues. There is no limit to the number of referrals you can make!

How it works: Identify a business, vendor, or acquaintance who could benefit from membership in the Metro North Chamber of Commerce. Submit your referrals via email to Laray Stone at [email protected] or Karen Cobb at [email protected]. Karen or Laray will contact the referred business, and when your referral joins the Chamber within 60 days of us receiving your emailed referral, with completed payment for a full year's membership, you will receive a $50 credit toward your next year's Chamber dues. 

Terms and conditions: When we contact the referred business, we will mention you or your company as the referring business. There is no limit to the number of referrals you can make. Referrals must be submitted in writing via email in order to be eligible for the $50 credit. If a referral is submitted more than once by different people, the Chamber will honor the first referring party only. The $50 credit can only be used toward a company's Chamber dues on the renewal anniversary date and cannot be carried over. The referring individual must be a current investor with the Chamber.
