Pick a date midweek and try to do it over lunch or at the end of the work day so more people can attend. The Chamber does not arrange or participate in Grand Openings and Ribbon Cuttings on Saturdays or Sundays in consideration of our volunteers and elected officials.
Prepare invites that can be easily faxed.
Mail invites 3-4 weeks prior, so those invited can mark their calendars.
The Chamber has a list of caterers to use for various functions. Remember to order enough to cover employees too!
A grand opening is a great opportunity to share about the history of the company, as well as all that you have to offer. |
